How to Shop
Shopping at Union Pacific Store is easy. You can place
personal
orders on-line in a secure environment. We use the most advanced encryption technology available. Just follow the directions and you'll be able to select and purchase from among a wide variety of products. Beneath each of the items in our collection, you'll see the button "add to bag".
When using the "add to bag" button, the item you've selected will be added to your shopping bag. If you need to choose a size, please select the appropriate size in the pull-down menu before you add the item to your bag.
You will see the Shopping Cart link in the upper right hand corner of your screen while you shop. You may click on the link at any time to view, modify or delete items from your shopping bag. When you've finished shopping please click on "Check Out" to complete your order.
Product Search
Union Pacific Store has two ways to make searching for products easier:
If you are looking for a specific product, the top navigation bar has a quick search form where you may enter the product name or item number. For example, type in "cap" and you will be directed to a search results page which will picture all the caps available on the website.
For additional search options, click on the Advanced Search Advanced Search link on the left navigation bar. You will be directed to an advanced search page where you can select from four different search options:
by item code: Use this option when you know the catalog item number of the item for which you are searching. Enter the item number and click Find.
by item name: Enter a name or names of items you wish to find. For instance, jacket or black mug. You will have the best results if you enter the item name as a single item (cap instead of caps). This search is helpful when you are looking for a specific item.
by product type: If are looking for a range of products within a category, searching by product type is useful. Select one of the product types from the drop-down box. For instance, if you select "Drinkware" your search will return all items which fall within that category, including travel mugs, sport bottles, ceramic mugs, etc.
by price range: When you have a budget you are trying to meet, the price range search can come in handy. Simply select the maximum price from the drop-down box. Your search results will only display items which are less than or equal to the maximum price you selected.
With each of the search options, you will be taken to a page, which will display your search results. From that search results page you may choose to add the item directly into your bag or you may click on any of the images to see additional information about the product. Inventory Availability
When placing your order online, you will see one of the following icons next to each product with its availability status. Please see below for descriptions of these icons.
The item you are requesting is currently in-stock, and available to ship.
The item you are requesting is on re-order, and will be available to ship shortly.
The item you are requesting is out of stock and and no longer available.
Back Ordered Items
Any items that you order which exceed the available quantity will remain on order in a back ordered status. The items will be shipped to you in one shipment when the last item becomes available. You will be charged for the items at that time. If you have any questions regarding your back ordered items, please call 1.866.888.0185 to speak with a customer service representative.

Online Ordering and Payment Options
Personal purchases can be made via VISA, MasterCard, or by redeeming gift certificates. Business purchases can be made using a corporate purchasing card or business and travel card. Cost center charges are no longer accepted.
Canadian and other international orders
Once you have placed your order online, you will be notified within 48 hours via e-mail of the freight charges. Once you
have received your notification email, please respond with your confirmation within the next 72 hours. If we do not receive
your authorization within that period of time, your order will be cancelled.
Standard International Delivery require the consignee/customer to pay duty & taxes and brokerage fee's mandated by the Government for which the shipment is received. Please check with your local agency for details on estimated fees. BDA is not responsible for duties and taxes. The customer is responsible for these destination fees. If an international package is refused for any reason, we will not refund the customer for the merchandise nor shipping & handling charges. We do not pay for return shipping when the package is abandoned internationally.
Payment information
Customers are responsible for customs and/or duty fees on international orders.
International orders must be prepaid in U.S. dollars by credit card, check, money order, gift certificate, direct bill or wire transfer.

Gift Certificates
Gift certificates can be purchased and redeemed online, or by phone. Any gift certificates purchased will have a serial number. When you purchase a gift certificate online, the certificate will be sent to the desired recipient via email. When you redeem your gift certificate, any remaining balances in excess of your order total can be used for future orders by re-entering your existing serial number.

E-Gift Certificates
When ordering multiple e-gift certificates please place a separate order for each recipient so that they may receive a unique email message. Shipping charges do not apply to e-gift certificate-only product orders.

Terms and Conditions:
- The gift certificate number is immediately redeemable. Please keep this information secure.
- The value of the gift certificate is redeemable for all costs, including merchandise, applicable sales tax and shipping fees.
- Gift certificates are not redeemable for cash and cannot be returned for a cash refund.
- Lost or stolen gift certificates will not be replaced.
- Please use your gift certificate within one year. This does not apply in California or other states where prohibited by law.
- If your order total exceeds the gift certificate amount, please include payment for the balance.

SHIPPING INFORMATION
All orders are processed within 48 hours of receipt.
Rush Shipping
(Next day, 2-day, and 3-day)
To accommodate a rush order, contact us by phone. Call by 1pm PST for same-day shipping. Be sure to tell us, "It's a rush." Additional shipping charges will apply.
Same Day Shipping
Upon checkout, you will have the option to ship via next day, 2-day, or 3-day air. If you would like same day processing, your order must be placed by 1:00 PM PST. A $20 same day processing fee will apply. Same Day Shipping is not available for international orders.
Standard Shipping
All in-stock items will be delivered to you within 7-10 business days of the date the order is received.
Upon checkout, you will have the option to ship via next day, 2-day, or 3-day air. In order to ensure same day processing, your order must be placed by 1:00 PM PST.

Domestic Shipping and Handling Charges
Shipping and handling charges will be automatically calculated and added to your order based on the total weight of your order. You will have a chance to review your final estimated shipping and handling charge prior to the completion of your order. A minimum shipping charge of $7.95 applies to each shipment.
